As young families, we loved the stunning view of the sunrise over the Sassi from our window. the private rooftop balcony was perfect for enjoying drinks and tapas in the afternoon. the central location meant we could easily explore the attractions and enjoy the many eateries nearby. the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heatwave, and the shower was really good.
Felt at home instantly, no complaints whatsoever.

I had the most amazing time in Matera. The apartment at View Matera Villa was perfect for my stay. It was clean, renovated, and had a breathtaking view of the sassi di matera. The huge panoramic window and terrace added to its charm. The location was ideal, close to the central station, restaurants, and the old town. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making my experience even more special. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a great air conditioner, hot shower, and a comfortable bed. The rooftop deck with a swinging wicker hammock was a unique touch. It's definitely one of my top 3 places to stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at The View Matera are absolutely amazing! They are cozy and well-designed, making me feel right at home. I loved having a kitchenette with a minibar and stovetop, which allowed me to prepare my own meals whenever I wanted. The private bathrooms were clean and had all the necessary toiletries. The flat-screen TV was a great addition for some evening entertainment. as a budget traveler, I couldn't have asked for more!
Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too cold for my liking. But hey, that's just me!

The view from the hotel was absolutely enchanting. Whether we were admiring it from the large window inside on rainy days or from the spacious terrace on sunny days, it never failed to amaze us. the friendly owner provided us with valuable information about the local area, enhancing our overall experience. We were also pleased with the cleanliness and renovation of our apartment, making it a comfortable home away from home. the location was ideal, being close to the central station, various restaurants and bars, and the charming old town.
One drawback we noticed was the lack of a storage room to leave our luggage. This would have been convenient for us, especially when we wanted to explore the city further before or after check-in or check-out.

I was blown away by the incredible view at The View Matera. As soon as I stepped into the room, I felt like I was in a work of art. The large picture window showcased the stunning scenery of Sassi di Matera, and I couldn't help but be amazed. And let's not forget about the private rooftop terrace - the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking panorama. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with the central station, restaurants, bars, and the old town all within walking distance. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Matera.

A View That Will Leave You Speechless
The real charm of this place lies in the breathtaking view it offers. Whether you choose to unwind on the terrace or relax in your room, the panorama of Matera's rugged landscape will leave you mesmerized. It's like having your own personal live painting, but with better WiFi!
The only downside to this otherwise delightful stay was the lack of utensils in the kitchenette. While the option to cook in your room is there, you might need to get a little creative with your recipes.

Located on the edge of the historic part of the city, you'll have a perfect vantage point to watch the sun rise over the stunning Sassi. The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped, with a great shower and comfortable bed. Plus, the rooftop terrace offers an even more breathtaking view. The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and all the attractions within walking distance.
The parking situation can be a bit stressful, as finding a spot near the apartment can be tricky.
